HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SWIMSUIT?

To keep your swimsuit in good shape throughout the summer and make it last into the next season, you need to treat it properly. How you wash and dry it is absolutely crucial. No one looks good in a stretched-out, wrinkled swimsuit, and deformed bra cups can seriously hurt your look. So how should you wash your swimsuit?

1. Rinse your swimsuit after every use
Even if you haven’t spent the whole day in the pool, you still need to rinse your swimsuit. Salt, chlorine, and sunscreen residues can permanently damage it. Start by taking a shower in your swimsuit – it’s a standard routine after the pool or sea. Use a small amount of shower gel to lather it up, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Never leave a wet swimsuit rolled up or in a bag.
Prolonged exposure to chlorinated or salty water can cause fabric discoloration.

2. Always hand-wash your swimsuit
Untie all straps before washing. Pay special attention to decorative elements and jewelry details, which can quickly become dull and damaged if mishandled. It's also a good idea to dry them separately after washing. Soak the swimsuit for 15–30 minutes in lukewarm water (around 40°C) with a little detergent for delicate fabrics. Then rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.

3. Drying
Swimsuits and lingerie must not be tumble-dried. Lay them flat to dry, away from direct sunlight (which causes colors to fade). Never hang bras by the straps – they’ll stretch out and lose their elasticity.

4. Always wear your oldest swimsuit in the jacuzzi
Avoid wearing lycra swimsuits with laminates or jewelry in the hot tub. The heat and chlorine quickly destroy the fabric. If you’re a jacuzzi lover, buy a cheap swimsuit just for that purpose – it won’t be a shame if it wears out quickly.

Damage caused by failure to follow these care instructions cannot be grounds for complaint.
